The University of California Irvine, through a series of departmental consolidations, arranged to free 1,500. Sf for a multi-provider clinic comprised of six consultation/exam rooms along with the required support spaces; i.e. waiting reception/nurse station, physician charting, utility rooms, storage, and bathrooms. This suite serves different clinics on different days. The ability to be multi-functional was extremely important.
CMA designed and documented the project in compliance with California OSHPD 3 requirements. The existing area was demolished and the new clinic constructed in a 4 month time frame.
